Guest Presenter from Bookshare/Next Meeting of the Philadelphia Computer Users’ Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired

If you like reading and you are blind or have a qualifying print disability, the chances are you’ve at least heard of the amazing service known as Bookshare. In fact, the chances are pretty high that many of you who are reading this post may well be members of this amazing library. As of this writing, Bookshare offers over 280,000 titles in its collection and that number continues to rise. In fact, sometimes a thousand or more titles are added during the course of a single day. Bookshare titles can be read on your computer, NLS digital player, Victor Stream, Plextalk Pocket, your iPhone and other devices.
If you have questions about this service, you’ll have a chance to get answers from Bookshare team member Jerri Weber during our next meeting of the Philadelphia Computer Users’ Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I am absolutely thrilled that Jerri has agreed to be a guest presenter and answer questions from both members and non-members about this service.
